Beyond its geographical marker, the 1035th kilometer is an invitation to reflect on the scale of the Dniester: its journey from the Carpathians to the Black Sea, spanning 1,360 kilometers, and to once again realize that one of Europe’s most beautiful rivers is located right beside us. Visitors will discover natural landscapes, canyons, meanders, rocky banks, historical landmarks, and protected areas of one of Europe’s nine largest rivers.

The exhibition features 50 large-format works by photographers from Moldova, Ukraine, and Belarus. The photo exhibition is dedicated to Dniester Day and will be open throughout the summer in the Dniester Park of the city of Vadul lui Vodă.
